Enhanced Performance Techniques expands at the Royal Academy of Music. Now three postgraduate pathway courses are up and running.

Sophie continues her Beethoven cycle of sonatas with international pianist, Nicholas Walker. Having completed three concerts so far, the next will be planned for later this season, 2017.

Sophie and Nicholas premiered the Elements by Peter White in Guildord on April 7th, which was very well received. Recordings of these 5 unique pieces are now available on YouTube, with accompanying paintings by Martin Southwood.

Now, Sophie has commissioned talented film composer, Laura Rossi, to write for violin and piano - look out for the Seasons, by Laura Rossi, later this season. It will be premiered in one of the Buns and Beethoven concerts.

Recently, in November 2016, Sophie played the RVW Lark Ascending in Chichester Cathedral. This performance was dedicated to the memory of the SPM cellist, Sophie McNestrie, who sadly passed away in early November 2016.

Later in the season, Sophie plays Vivaldi Four Seasons in Guildford, and RVW Lark Ascending in the Chichester Cathedral.
